PANDAN CHEESE CHIFFON CAKE

 
 
 
ku terai kek ni 2 minggu lepas. dah lama salin resipi dari fp bonda. pastu tgk kat fp zura...dia pun dah wat. so finally ku plak buat. emmmm memang best....resipi ni. mcm chiffon tapi tak le seringan chiffon. kek ni pun moist sikit. tapi jgn lupa yek...kek ni tak tahan lama di room temperature coz ada cheese. niway ni note utk diri sendiri kot... ku terlupa ada cheese kat kek ni dan selamba je simpan di room temperature sampai 2-3 ari...last2 tengok dah berkulat. anak2 plak terlupa nak makan

PANDAN CHEESE CHIFFON CAKE

INGREDIENTS A
40g softened unsalted butter
125g softened cream cheese ( i used 150g)
50g fresh milk

INGREDIENTS B
5 egg yolks
1 tsp pandan paste ( i used 1 1/2 tsp)
30g plain flour
20g corn flour

INGREDIENTS C
5 egg whites
1/4 tsp cream of tar tar
100g caster sugar
Pinch of salt
A few drops green colour

CREAM CHEESE FILLING (mixed well)
100g softened cream cheese ( i used 130g)
200g softened unsalted butter ( i used 150g)
4 tbsp thick coconut milk
160gm icing sugar ( i used 140g)

METHOD
1. Double boil ingredients A and stir until melted. Remove from heat.
2. Add in egg yolks and mix well. Slowly add in the remaining ingredients B and mix well.
3. Beat ingredients C until white and stiff.
4. Spoon 1/2 of egg white mixture and mix well with cheese mixture. Add in the remaining egg white mixture and mix until well combined.
5. Pour batter into 9" tin (lined with greaseproof paper) and bake at 170c for 15 minutes or until cooked.
6. Remove and leave to cool.
7. Spread cream cheese filling on top of a piece of cake and cover with another pieces of cake.
8. Spread the remaining cream cheese filling all over the cake and chill in the fridge for 3 hours before serving.


ni plak kek besday utk hani erina yang ke 3. dah 3 thn hani erina tu dan maknanya dah 2 1/2 ku jaga dia. ku mula jaga dia masa umur 5-6 bulan cengitu. skarang dah petah bercakap and pandai plak dok provoke kita....esp bila ku dok diam je tak cakap apa2 dgn dia...emmm she will find smtg le utk provoke ku like "mak ros tak ada selipar baru, hani ada selipar baru..., selipar hani cantik, makros punya buruk" kelakar betui....kekadang ku saja je wat diam... nak tengok telatah dier.

kek tu dlmnya rich moist chocolate cake ngan cream cheese sbg marble nyer. topping plak...hajat dihati nak wat ganache style betty crocker...(dedulu kat jepun slalu buat and ok jadinyer) tapi ntah le...sejak balik sini....belum pernah skali pun ku buat ganache ni jadi elok. ganache ni quantity whip/fresh cream and coklat adalah sama. sama juga cara cam buat ganache lagi satu tu....tapi yg ini bila dah sejuk...beat dia sampai jadi stiff peak pastu sapu dan pipe le deco nyer. yg ni ku buat dia jadi macam tak nak sebati antara cream dan coklat tu. kaler pun pelik. ntah lah mana tak kena...mayber sukatan tak tepat kot.
